The "Walk for KPTC" will take place on February 11th at the LIU POST GYM - Pratt Center from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
News from our New Cassel Club. Mark your calendars! On February 21st we will have a special guest speaker at our general meeting. Our guest speaker will be Cory Twibell, Editor at the Westbury Times. The question he will address: How does our club get greater coverage in the Westbury Times? This meeting would also be a great Inter-club opportunity. Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville will present a dance performance inspired by the novel "They Marched Into Sunlight" honoring Vietnam Veterans. The Pulitzer prize winning author, David Maraniss will be present and is giving a talk after both performances. The performances are scheduled for 3/18/12 @ 2pm & 7pm at the high school. On November 20th The Hicksville club held our annual Pancake Breakfast. This raised funds to assist the local Food Banks that are located in the Hicksville-Westbury area. The net proceeds were $3400.00. A donation of $500.00 will be made to the six food banks in the Hicksville-Westbury area.
On January 6th, The feast of the Epiphany, we held our annual Three Kings Celebration. We distributed toys after a repast of Pizza. This is an annual celebration which is celebrated in many Spanish Communities. It was held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church
