On Sunday November 20 the annual Pancake Breakfast was held. The event was successfully chaired by Patricia Geraci and Elinore Howard. In excess of 100 meals were served and approximately 70 placemat ads were sold. This allowed a substantial donation to be made to the participating food pantries. They were Saint Ignatius, Holy Family, Saint Brigids, Our Lady of Mercy and the Hickville Methodist Church. The work carried out by these groups is very necessary during these hard economic times. We encourage all to continue to donate food and money to these worthwhile charities.
A special Thank you is given to Capital One Bank for their assistance.
